- Evil Genius comments: All collection items in this Investigation are located inside two mini instances; “Special Crimes Unit” and “East End Regal Hotel”. Both of these are part of Villains Joker Mission (not sure whether Heroes have missions in here as well), but you can enter them without having the quest. Be careful because you will need to be at least level 15 to solo defeat the mobs inside and the last fight against Batman. (bringing a friend along would also be a viable option)

I am not so sure you can get these missions as a Heroe or otherwise unless assigned. I have collected the majority of the investigations you have listed plus one you do not, “Canoptic Jars”, I have also travelled both areas looking for these mini instances to no avail.
It *appears* that there are mentor-specific missions at certain levels that you can only get if you have that mentor… for heroes, this is the Batman level 15 mission. I have a level 30 Meta who has not been able to see the entrances to these instances (I have not tried since hitting level 30, however), but my level 16 Tech hero has gone into these instances without trouble. You may be able to enter if you group with someone who has that quest, but I have not tried that.
This is indeed one of the mentor quests.
Whether you’re a villain or a hero you get specific mentor quests at level 15 (two mini instances) and at level 30 (one mini instance)
To get into other mentor instances you’ll have to join a person of that specific mentor. They can usually open up the instance for you (ask around).
I do wish to note that at this point there’s some bug(?) that prevents meta (superman/lex luthor) characters to do their mentor mini-instances again once they’ve completed it. (I’ve tested this with a friend he was able to enter my wonderwoman level 15 and level 30 mini-instances with me. But he was unable to enter his old mini-instances. I did however did his level 30 mini-instance as I helped him while he had the quest for it.)
I’d suggest finding a level 15 and 30 respectively that is working, or soon will be working on his mentor quests to enter these instances.
As I’ve found that both the two mini-instances at level 15 and the mini-instance at level 30 contain a set of briefing and investigation. So to get these (for the achievement hunters) get a friend to open it up for you.

If someone could actually list where these instances are(take a photo of the freakin’ yellow circle in gotham!!) and possibly quest names, I’d be much appreciated. These seem next to impossible to get, even with the help of batman people… they usually have all 6 and have no idea what/where they are.

one is in the SCU Police Station and one is in the Regal Hotel. Both are in the east end. Shouldn’t be hard to find if you try a little.
