DCUO Monthly Subscription and Regional Restrictions

DCUO launches on Tuesday 1-11-11 at 7AM PT and today is going to seem like an eternity for me. During the last few days some interesting questions pop up on twitter and forums and here are the answers:

  1. Will there be a monthly subscription fee for DCUO?

    2. The standard retail purchase price is $50 for PC and $60 for PS3. DC Universe Online will require players to pay a monthly subscription fee of $15 🙁

  2. Will there be regional restrictions?
    If I remember correctly RadarX posted on beta forum an answer like this:
    It’s not an official answer, but he does lean towards the fact their previous games aren’t region locked so we don’t expect DCUO to have any regional restrictions.

Bludhaven Alert DCUO instance video

In the latest Dev Diary video Game Director Chris Cao explains group combat alert: Bludhaven in DC Universe Online. This alert zone is much like Gotham city but with toxic chemical, mutant citizens and techno monster called “Chemo”. Your mission is to save citizens and to stop the mutation. You have to turn the city back to what it was and to fight together with hazmat troops against Toxic defenders (can summon heroes to fight against you) and the main boss Chemo.
